A true bespoke suit is a full-floating or full- canvas suit. It is done through traditional tailoring method and that 98% of the garment is handmade. The master tailor takes the body measurements to allow best understanding of the individual’s body type as well as its peculiarities. The cloth and the trimmings are chosen and the style of the garment is confirmed.
The next part of the process is what is considered The Art. The master tailor, based on the measurement taken and keen observation of the individual model, will then interpret unto paper which will be cut and become the master pattern. This pattern will be plot carefully onto the fabric for cutting. The master cutter assigns the work to his tailors, while he constantly supervise its construction and address its different elements such as handwork, lining, buttonholes and ironing.
We usually require 5 weeks lead time including 3-4 fitting schedules or more to perfect the fitting of the suit, depending on the customer’s availability and on the time of the year.
